Splitgate is a free to play, fast-paced sci-fi multiplayer shooter that combines the strategic elements of portals with the explosive gameplay of a first person shooter. We quickly became a top trending game on PlayStation, XBOX, and Steam. In our first 6 days, we passed 1M downloads, and hit 2M within the first two weeks. We’re now at 15M+ downloads and growing. After receiving $100M Series A funding with a valuation of $1.5B, we are actively looking to grow our team with the best talent out there to continue the journey of making Splitgate a game that we and the millions of players in our gaming community are proud of.
What We're Looking For:
We are looking for an experience QA leader who loves games and genuinely cares about the quality of games. As the QA leader at 1047 Games, you will advocate for quality and ensure that we meet our extreme high quality bar.

Responsibilities
- Build and manage our internal QA team
- Coordinate and lead community testers
- Build and maintain external QA capabilities
- Establish QA standards, methodologies, test strategies, and design test plans for every phase of development and release
- Define and improve standards for test cases and test reports
- Collaborate with our development team to identify quality issues and resolve them
- Provide guidance support and feedback to the QA team on assigned projects
- Establish bug reporting workflows within each project
- Partner with producers to ensure that projects stay on schedule for planned QA phases
- Oversee QA staffing needs, both internal and external
- Regularly communicate updates to project stakeholders, both internal and external
- Use bug tracking data to analyze quality challenges and work with development team to reduce quality issues
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in the entertainment software industry, with 3 or more years of management experience
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to inspire others
- Knowledge on localization, functional, automated, compliance, and certification testing
- Experience working with multiple bug databases
- Ability to provide clear and concise creative feedback
- Experience working with external vendors or teams
- Proficiency with game production life cycle, tools, process and execution planning
- Mastery of end-to-end game QA process
- Experience shipping AAA titles on console or PC
- Experience scaling QA teams and operations
- Experience with Live Operations and games as a service from a Quality Assurance perspective
