QA Manager - Sports Simulators

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead a team of multiple Quality Assurance Testers. You and your team will be collaborating with software and hardware teams to generate and maintain technical test plans. The QA Manager will also be directly responsible for guiding the rest of your team on execution of those test plans and the reporting of test results to various stakeholders.

Primary Functions

• Create effective Quality Assurance testing, tracking, and reporting procedures.

• Develop comprehensive and effective technical test plans to verify proper function, performance, playability/usability and hardware/software compatibility.

• Create and maintain daily build verification reports, plus game content and features verification reports.

• Hire, train, and supervise the test team to follow QA testing, tracking and reporting procedures.

• Lead the QA team to ensure execution of test plans.

• Understand, respect, and embrace the complexities and constraints of testing software for simulators and software as a service, and the dependencies of hardware, embedded software, game software, client & online server, PC, and mobile applications.

• Review all defects and ensure bug reports entered by the QA team includes the required information and conforms to QA standards.

Required Education, Experience & Skills

• 3+ years of working experience in gaming industry.

• Highly proficient with JIRA, DevTrack, Trello, or similar defect tracking and project management tools.

• Demonstrable ability to create and implement QA testing, tracking, and reporting procedures.

• Strong leadership ability.

• Ability to multitask, handle high pressure situations, and prioritize multiple tasks.

Preferred Education, Experience & Skills

• Golf Knowledge.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Game Design, or a related technology field.

• Experience with, or familiarity with both PC and mobile testing.
