What We Need
2K is reimagining our player experience and how we handle our QA process! Have you ever thought it would be cool to get paid for playing video games? Our dedicated Customer Experience Studio in Madrid is looking to hire video game testers to support our new and upcoming releases. You will test video game titles on various consoles, PC’s, and handhelds to check the software for errors and log them into our test database. Reports to a QA Lead and/or QA Manager.
This position is based in office in Madrid (this is not a remote opportunity) and is full time with excellent benefits!

What You Will Do
- Supervise projects through the various stages of testing and milestones of their lifecycle to ensure product quality
- Develop and maintain test plans and other documentation
- Ensure all bugs are written according to our standard methodologies and are accurately actioned
- Lead the projects’ progress, prioritizing the workload across your team, while establishing and achieving milestones.
- Keep all collaborators informed, providing frequent reports and documentation to QA Management, Producers and Developers.
- Find opportunities for improving the QA Department, defining new processes, and refining existing ones
- Lead all aspects of the QA testing team, handling the recruitment and training processes and evaluating performance
- Mentor and coach team members to help them achieve their goals, providing valuable guidance, and constructive feedback
- Support Managers, Producers and/or Developers by gathering requirements, answering queries, and providing all vital documentation
- Identify and inform of potential risks for the project and collaborate on issues and prioritization.
- Lead production of all testing targets including daily reports, weekly status reports, test cases, test plans, bug tracking reports, final release certification report, RTM checklists, and post-mortem reports
Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Advanced MS Office suite, Google suite and Outlook skills
- Familiarity with databases and bug tracking tools (e.g. Jira, Helix)
- Effective time management skills
- Understanding departments’ core values and willingness to help build a positive culture
- Ability to act as a positive role model for testers within the department
- Adaptability, emotional intelligence and creativity in solving problems, while reliably handling ambiguity
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 4+ years in QA testing
- Effective team development and management to feed success and good relationships
- Comprehensive understanding of test cycles and processes
- Bilingual with proficiency in English, in both written and oral forms (C1 or higher)
- Reliable, and can be counted on to work all scheduled work days
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time and lift up to 9 kgs
