QA Lead Engineer

QA Lead Engineer

We are looking for a QA specialist to lead our efforts on an exciting new Mobile game here at Wargaming Berlin. You will help establish the team here in Berlin by mixing outsourcing, internal resources and local hires as applicable. You will work closely with the production and engineering leads on the game and scale the QA effort appropriately. You’ll set best practices and provide guidance and coaching for your team members and all external resources.

Reports To

The QA Lead reports directly to the Product Director.

What will you do?

• Establish a QA pipeline for the product and guide internal and external teams to reach their testing tasks
• Be the principle point of QA contact for the game team
• Manage external QA outsourcing teams

What are we looking for?

• 4+ years professional QA experience
• 2+ years experience leading teams
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Experience defining test strategies and test plans
• Demonstrated knowledge of formal QA methods (gray / black box testing)
• Familiar with the software development lifecycle
• Shipped one or multiple console/mobile titles
• Real passion for video games

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience with Unity
• Experience with distributed development
