QA Internship

Six Week QA Internship

What is it?

This is an opportunity to join Space Ape’s QA team as an intern for a six week programme starting in September 2022.

We’re looking for aspiring game makers, passionate hobbyists, students of the craft and anyone who has decided on games as their career path.

Where is it?

The internship will take place in our central London office. You will work onsite between 2-5 days a week depending on the stage of the internship.

The internship will last for 6 weeks, beginning August, 30th, 2022.

What will I be doing?

When we talk about quality, we’re talking about testing complicated games with impressive feature-sets that are enjoyed by millions of players across the globe playing on thousands of different devices.

As part of your internship at Space Ape, you will join our community of QA experts working on one of our game teams alongside other QA engineers.

We’ll make sure you get a great orientation with all the support you need to get up and running. You will help us test new features, stop bugs in their tracks and make sure our games reach our players in top condition.

What will I learn?

You will be working collaboratively in a cross-functional team with artists, designers, coders, producers, community agents and more.

About the tools we use!

You will gain familiarity with industry standard testing and production tools: Unity, JIRA, Monday.com, Testrail, Jenkins

About releasing!

You will get to help us ship builds and be part of our agile development practices.

Will I be paid?

Yes! This is a fully paid internship. You will receive £2,083.00 pounds per month, gross.

How do I apply?

As a member of the QA team you'll need to be a great communicator and advocate for players, collaborate with your team, play detective and problem solve, anticipate challenges, and be comfortable giving and receiving feedback. Take your time with your Cover Letter, as this will be one of the main ways for us to get to know our hopefuls.
