QA Games Tester
It’s an exciting time to join Tactile. We're storytellers, puzzlers and casual mobile game makers, based in the heart of the beautiful Copenhagen. Our story began back in 2008, and since then we have grown to become one of the largest Danish gaming companies and we have been scaling fast in the last few years (thanks to a little game called
Lily’s Garden). Now we’re on a mission to be recognized as one of the leading creators of exceptional casual puzzle games.
With more than 280 talented individuals, we are a mix of over 45 nationalities and 42% women. We appreciate the richness that different experiences bring, and foster a lean organisational culture, in which each team member is encouraged to take responsibility, be open and grow in their own way. We pride ourselves in creating a studio that stays away from crunch, that fosters your skills no matter what your discipline is, and one that gives you a place to be creative alongside other talented and invested people.
This role is remote-only and based in Cluj.
We’re currently growing our QA Team in Cluj and are on the search for a QA Games Tester to join our team. As a QA Games Tester at Tactile, you'll be vital in making sure our games perform flawlessly and deliver exceptional experiences to our users. That means you'll be on the front lines from idea to release and get to experience the excitement of introducing features first hand. So, if you're all about delivering top-notch gaming experiences, we want you on our team!
You’ll be primarily responsible for testing stories for all our games but will most likely also helping with other things like releases and feature testing. Further down the line, there’s also the opportunity to test new game projects that we're currently growing.
Okay, let’s get a little bit more specific. Here’s what you’ll be doing on the day-to-day as QA Games Tester in our QA Team:
- Work cross-functionally with Product Teams (that includes programmers, designers, producers and product managers) to understand our products and define testing requirements
- Play our games across multiple platforms (iOS, Android, and Kindle) to identify any story quality issues and bugs
- Record and classify severity and report any issues to ensure they are fixed before release
- Create and maintain a list of bugs and escalate issues as necessary
What we're looking for:
- Game testing experience or a keen interest in a career within QA
- Ability to create concise and accurate reproduction steps
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA or Monday
- Experience with Agile methodologies
