QA Game Tester- ( Horror Genre Video Game)

Development support staff are responsible for communicating with development partners and creating test plans to locate issues and ensure that the product meets the expectations of the product owner. Typically, day-to-day tasks can include game testing, bug database maintenance, reporting and attending meetings/scrums.
Requirements
- Passion for horror genre / scary content video games on Console.
- Previous QA testing experience (or equivalent transferable skills or education) is an asset
- Education, knowledge, or experience in gameplay, or QA an asset
- Must be able to deal with graphic horror on a daily basis- with trigger warnings on Gore, Blood, Violence, Body Horror, Mental Illness, Suicide to name a few.
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic, able to meet responsibilities without constant supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong observational skills
- Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and features
- Proficient in PC use and current generation video game consoles · Flexible and team-oriented
Contract Duration:
Start Date- October 31st,2022
End Date- December 22nd, 2022
Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm PST
Salary- $19.25/hr
