Game Store QA Engineer

Job Overview

Wargaming is looking for a Game Store QA Engineer to join the World of Tanks Blitz team. This role entails testing in-game content offered to players in the Store, as well as testing store bundles including in-game content; Another part of the job is testing in-game special offers and events and solving interesting and challenging problems with a high level of responsibility.

Monetization is the heart of the product. We are seeking a talented professional to join our small and friendly team and help it to reach new heights.

What will you do?

• Testing items prepared for sale at the in-game Store, on the item administration panel and on platform consoles (Apple, Google, Microsoft, Steam, Nintendo, Wargaming Launcher);
• Testing personalized offers, campaigns and standard events for players;
• Testing the monthly Battle Pass content;
• Checking game items for the in-game Store and personal quests.

What are we looking for?

• 1,5+ years of QA experience;
• Knowledge of the basic principles, types, and methods of testing;
• Understanding of client-server architecture;
• Experience with testing configuration files;
• Experience with XML and JSON file formats;
• Experience with development branches;
• Organizational skills, experience of working on a schedule and meeting deadlines;
• Ability to perform monotonous tasks;
• Readiness to work occasional irregular hours (on weekends or bank holidays);
• Intermediate or higher level of English

What will help you stand out?

• Basic knowledge of Python, Git, Teamcity
• Experience with Jira, Confluence or similar tools for managing the development process and documentation;
• World of Tanks Blitz player experience.
