QA Engineer (Technical Development Support)

Duration: Full time, Monday to Friday, flexible hours

The Technical Support will be working alongside both Quality Assurance teams and development partners to create, maintain, and enhance automation scripts. In this role you will be able to provide technical insights and expertise to support comprehensive automated verification. This position works collaboratively with the development and QA teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Software engineering or equivalent
• Proficiency in one of the C, C++, C#, Python, Postman
• Previous technical industry experience
• Experience working on tools, test automation and development process improvements
• Knowledge of at least one domain (database admin, automation, web, Microservices, SaaS, Cloud Solutions etc.)
• Excellent communication skills o Presenting ideas and progress to stakeholders
• Strong knowledge of Software Development Life-Cycle processes

 Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban

 Software design pattern

 Continuous integration method

 Modern testing method

 Software design patterns

Daily/weekly tasks:

• Work alongside a small team of Software Engineers
• Building tools for quality engineering
• Follow quality standards through code reviews and design approvals
• Test automation scripts
• Collect and verify technical requirements for the project
• Participate in the implementation plan that includes schedule, priorities,
• dependencies and deliverables
• Collaborate with the team, driving innovation, and quality testing
• Build relationships with local and remote developers and stakeholders
• Takes responsibility for all tasks related to his/her assigned features
