QA Engineer, Games (Contractor role in Romania)

Overview
As a QA Engineer for games you will provide testing of new games and sign off that they are ready for production. A combination of manual testing as well as working with and creating automation tasks to verify functionality of mobile apps and web games. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are vital to success in this role. Exceptional product quality is always our goal at Arkadium.
This role is open to candidates based in Romania and will be 100% remote
Business hours are 10-19 Bucharest time.
Responsibilities
- Functional testing of web and mobile games.
- Game analytics testing.
- Participation in product development planning.
- Estimation of testing tasks.
- Compilation of testing documentation: testing cases, checklists, reports, defects.
- Conduction of all types of testing required on the project.
- Taking part in the project meetings.
- Participation in the process of optimization of the releases of new features, as well as accompanying the releases of gaming products.
- Studying new tools and technologies required on the project.
- In the future – team training within the framework of the project.
Requirements
- More than 2 years of experience in web and mobile application testing;
- Proficiency in English at the Upper-Intermediate level and above;
- Understanding the methods of estimating tasks on the project and working on an agile methodology.
- Practical experience in creating various types of testing documentation.
- Understanding the principles of client-server applications.
- Experience with developer tools in browsers.
- Experience with tools for analyzing application traffic (Fiddler).
- Experience working with logs.
It's a big plus if you also:
- Have experience in testing mobile games on iOS and Android platforms.
- Have experience in testing multiplayer games.
- Are experienced in the gaming industry.
- Have a load testing experience.
- Are experienced in organizing testing processes.
- Are experienced in web application security testing.
