QA Artist - (Contract)

Rooster Teeth Animation is looking for a QA/QC Artist to support the production of our animated shows! We are looking for an individual to provide quality control of internally-created and externally-created 3D assets. This individual will be responsible for cleaning up assets and ensuring that the conform to the requirements of our custom pipeline.

Responsibilities:

Integrate assets/textures into the Pipeline
Ensure assets are clean of bad geometry
Set up materials
Ensure model smoothing is ideal
Revise reviewed assets
Troubleshoot and ensure assets go through the Pipeline
Clean up outsourced assets
Work with multiple departments to ensure assets are up to standard
Test newly developed tools to integrate into the Pipeline

Qualifications:

Software proficiency in Maya, Max, and Photoshop
Proficient understanding of modeling, UVs, texturing, and materials
Problem-solving skills
