Job Overview
As QA Analyst you’ll be a vital part of FQA team supporting the QA Delivery & Deployment Manager to achieve organisational, technical and creative skills excellence by internal and external QA resources. You will drive the execution of and assist in making improvements to the test strategy for feature(s) in your ownership.

QA Delivery & Deployment Manager
What will you do?
- Act as QA owner for your assigned feature team(s) and point of contact for both internal and external teams in that specified game area supporting an agile methodology.
- Participate in development team Scrum meetings as QA feature owner and identify, document and ensure the timely execution of the QA support required.
- Utilise tools such as JIRA, Confluence and TestRail to write and delegate test plans to external QA Partners and analyse the results.
- Monitor and feedback on the effectiveness of existing tools, processes and automation used within QA and identify areas of improvement.
- Drive best practices across your feature team and share that knowledge to QA as a department.
- Ensure data from various sources is being accurately provided from QA testing practices in order to drive a culture of Risk Based Testing
- Actively participate in requirement and design reviews of upcoming features
- Provide ongoing project risk analysis and report on progress status
- Demonstrate transparency and active communication with dev/feature teams and QA management
What are we looking for?
- QA experience in games industry
- Some experience supporting an agile methodology and attending scrum meetings.
- Good understanding of the QA process and testing terminology
- Experience working with and delegating to external QA teams
- Great communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to write, follow and report on test plans
- Working knowledge of source control (e.g. Perforce) and CI (e.g. Jenkins) tools
- Experience with grey-box testing techniques.
What additional skills will help you stand out?
- Good working knowledge of UE4 editor and associated toolchains
- Familiarity with test automation
- Experience with Games-as-a-service projects
- Cross-platform development experience
- Experience with applications such as JIRA, Hansoft, Confluence, TestRail, Perforce or Git.
- Understanding of data analysis & Risk Based Testing methodologies
- Strong network and API testing skills
