Job Description
We are currently seeking for a Purchasing Specialist to join our Ubisoft Bucharest team in a fast-paced international environment where we enjoy the projects and the people we work with.
What’s in it for you? With the opportunity to be trained by our purchasing specialists, you will be responsible with researching new vendors, tracking deliveries, and updating order records (e.g., dates, invoices and discounts). Your main role will be to order supplies and equipment based on our company’s needs.

Your responsibilities:
- Develop the sourcing strategies for specific departments and areas of expenses for RFP’s with inputs from business stakeholders, prepare cost benchmarking, evaluation matrix and commercial supplier award proposal, conduct market research to identify pricing trends;
- Lead commercial negotiations through RFP processes, participate in projects led by HQ procurement team to support project negotiation and supplier selection;
- Build and maintain a sustainable and collaborative approach with suppliers, monitor key strategic supplier’s performance with input from business stakeholders and communicate to suppliers the corrective actions and improvement plan;
- Conduct detailed assessment in terms of compliancy of company’s core policies and procedures.
- Perform market analysis for recommending targeted added value to category strategies.
- Ensure mitigation of risks throughout coordination with Ubisoft HQ Procurement team, Legal, Finance and other cross functional teams for executing performance driven supplier contracts, support the Finance team in coordinating with suppliers for payments/outstanding invoice reconciliation.
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery while updating internal databases with order details (dates, suppliers, quantities, discounts);
- Ensure catalogue creation for applicable contracts.
- Identify and communicate within Procurement team improvement ideas applicable in day-to-day operations/processes;
- Initiate and coordinate Contract Management activities with Legal team (local and HQ);
- Work towards Supplier Consolidation.
- Provide support to procurement team members and preparation of different activities such as reporting, operational and administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of procurement experience in a similar position, in a multi-national environment;
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
- Planning and organizing abilities, attention to details;
- Strategic thinking and problem solving skills;
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities;
- Proactive and able to show initiative;
- Good team player, autonomous and constantly willing to grow;
- Proficiency in English;
- Microsoft Excel proficiency;
