Purchasing Specialist - FTC

We are looking for a driven, service minded Purchasing Specialist with an eye for detail to join the King Purchasing Team.

The Purchasing Specialist is responsible for supporting the business with purchases and supplier management. The Purchasing Specialist ensure suppliers are registered and purchase orders issued correctly and efficiently.

The Purchasing Specialist will act as the Super User for Oracle iProcurement and Apex supplier management portal and is the go to person for system functionality and process queries. The role entails providing daily support to the wider Purchasing Specialist community, Buyers and Purchase Order approvers.

The Purchasing Specialist is in charge of promoting purchasing and supplier processes, policies and ensure the adequate controls are in place.

Your role within our Kingdom

Provide day to day support to the global network of decentralised Purchasing Specialists.

Liaise with Buyers, cost center managers and finance managers to ensure a smooth purchasing process.

Act as the Super User for Oracle iProcurement and Apex supplier management portal.

Process centralised Requisitions timely and successfully.

*

Ensure compliance and correct accounting of all Requisitions.

Manage supplier maintenance though the vendor portal APEX.

*

Ensure purchasing and supplier processes are SoX and policy compliant.

• Solve all purchasing related business queries through Jira tickets within the agreed SLA.

Skills to create thrills

Good communication skills with focus on service delivery

* Detail Oriented

* Ability to keep transactional speed while maintaining accuracy, control and compliance

* Working experience within the area of a purchasing and/or vendor management

* General understanding of accounting principles

* Oracle and iProcurement proficiency

* Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel

* Native or business level English speaker
