Purchase Manager

Job Description

Type of Position: Permanent, full-time.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and support to Ubisoft teams to translate business needs into effective procurement needs & solutions.
• Plan and coordinate effectively the procurement process with the internal stakeholders,
• Apply effectively the understanding of the portfolio, business practices, terms & conditions and level of services of external suppliers to evaluate and manage them effectively.
• Build and cultivate productive relationships with external suppliers.
• Understand, manage and optimize effectively internal procurement processes and policies
• Understand, manage and use effectively internal procurement tools
• Conduct effectively supplier & pricing comparisons from multiple & relevant sources to recommend the most efficient solution for an optimized purchasing value.
• Understand and apply the terms and conditions of a contract to administer its obligations & lifecycle effectively.
• Understand, plan and manage effectively the different steps of a procurement cycle (prepare, negotiate, close, follow).
• Apply effectively procurement processes & techniques through the cycle to manage successfully the 3 procurement pillars: cost, quality and risk.
• Ensure adherence to complete P2P process.
• Be well versed and updated on all compliance framework related to import, export, customs, STPI, GST with reference to procurement scope.
• Effective use of process automation wherever applicable.
• Responsible to fulfill all IT/ Non IT procurement needs in the organization.
• Ownership of Budgeting process for all procurement needs right from co-ordination with stake holders to track of variances
• Anticipate purchases so that we are not lacking any material (including renewal of service agreements)
• Contract Negotiation –Domestic and global rate contracts for material and services procurement.
• Responsible to keep vendor database updated on timely basis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 8-12 years experience in Purchase, Procurement and related Commercial functions
• Exposure to use ERP/ relevant system for procurement process
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills. Be action-oriented and make decisions quickly
• High level of attention to details
• Strong presentation and analytical skills
• Ability to work with all levels within the organization
• Proficient in MS Office (able to develop reports in Excel, PowerPoint Presentations)
