Publishing Manager (Turkish Region)

We are PUBG, part of KRAFTON Inc. After the release of our flagship title in 2017 we have become one of the highest selling games of all time with over 70 million copies sold – that’s a lot of Chicken Dinners! We are now looking for a new Publishing Manager to join our Office in Istanbul.
The Publishing Manager will play a critical role in the business relationships and operation to support the regions’ publishing goals. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams at Krafton and with external agencies to develop and maintain relationships with prospective and current partners across gaming & non-gaming verticals to develop business collaborations; and support community projects for the Turkey region.
Basic Responsibilities:
Business Development
- Research & analyze local market trends and help identify new partnership opportunities of key partners in the region in various areas related to PC & mobile gaming.
- Develop and maintain ongoing business relationships on behalf of PUBG with partners in Turkey such as digital platforms, telcos and other brand companies.
- Prepare and present proposals to both internal management teams as well as external partners
- Work on potential sponsorship, brand integrations for ongoing and new community projects to maximize the visibility
Community Operations
- Work closely with the Community Manager to align all community operations and functions to execute community engagement activities for PUBG titles
- Support day to day operations for planning and execution processes across HQ and Istanbul office.
- Brief, consult, and manage internal and external partners and agencies in the processes of asset creation and distribution
- Conduct post-mortem reporting on executed activities
What we’re ideally looking for:
- Several years’ experience in business development, preferably within the games industry
- Keen interest in gaming & esports
- Knowledge and experience with community management/social media
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with external partners
- Good analytical and reporting skills
- Native Turkish speaker
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Plus:
- Have an existing extensive network of brands in the region
- Knowledge of and/or network with current game community/influencers
