Public Affairs Analyst Intern (f/m/d)

Job Description

Public Affairs contributes to the success of the Ubisoft entities in Germany (Düsseldorf, Berlin, Mainz) by building relationships and using networks of the video games industry and other stakeholders (institutional, political & educational sector) to achieve strategic corporate goals (e.g. CSR initiatives, fostering the games ecosystem etc.).

Your primary responsibility consists of supporting the Public Affairs team with analyses. Specifically, this involves conducting research about governmental, institutional, educational, Entertainment & Tech market and private-sector stakeholders capable of furthering Ubisoft’s strategic interests. You will get an overview about the scope of the Public Affairs team’s tasks and responsibilities as well as support the team. In close collaboration with the local Public Affairs team members and the international Corporate Affairs team, you will help promoting Ubisoft’s interests on a local and global level by working on selected projects.

Specific Tasks

• Research key socio-economic and political metrics on municipal, state and federal level in order to evaluate their attractivity;
• Analyze and evaluate political, macro/microeconomic and social contexts
• Produce detailed mappings and write the following types of analyses: SWOTs, reports, briefings and prepare presentations
• In collaboration with the Public Affairs Director proceed selected topics and support to Ubisoft’s contribution to local communities (incl. regional video game industry networks like games.nrw e.V.)
• Support the Public Affairs team members with their activities for initiatives like Ubisoft Education, Ubisoft Entrepreneurs, Research & Development and CSR projects (Diversity & inclusion, Sustainability, Charities).

Qualifications

Education

• A university study or degree in Political or Social Science, Business Administration, International Relations, International Studies, Media Studies or other relevant studies/experience.
• Enrolled in a University

Professional Experience

• An understanding of German politics is mandatory, E.U. or other international politics an asset.
• An understanding of the video game industry is considered an asset.

This is a full time and Paid internship.
