The Prototype Engineer is responsible for working closely and collaboratively with our Games Design team to rapidly create playable game or game feature prototypes for iteration. They may also work with the Games Design team to verify mathematical accuracy through analytical tools within the prototype system. The ideal candidate will: have experience within the slot design industry, work in a rapid development environment, and be able to work effectively with teams across the organization.What you'll doDevelop prototypes for game concepts and modelsMaintain the prototype throughout the design phase, updating with latest assets where applicableKeep an eye on projects in production, spot bugs and potential improvement tweaks in collaboration with the assigned Games ProducerAnalyze competitors’ and in house productsKeep an eye on what is on trend in social casino, real casino industries and other mediasWorking with the Games Design Team in future game designAnalysis and reporting of games performanceTo keep open and continual communications with your manager and your team with regards to workload and projectsOther duties as assignedWhat we're looking forExperienced prototyping skills in at least one programming language. E.g. Construct/Unity/Flash/HTML5 (Unity experience preferred)Ability to develop concepts with speed and qualityAttention to detailDeadline-oriented, but still flexibleAble to work as part of a Games Design team and under own initiativeAble to mockup ideas on paper and digitallyA basic understanding of probability theoryStrong written and verbal communication skillsMeets challenges consistently and confidently with energy and drive.
