Electric Square Leamington is a brand-new studio with big ambitions and a cool approach to game development following in the footsteps of its world class HQ in Brighton.

We are searching for a talented and experienced Prop Artist for an exciting and high-profile project. Create gorgeous, cute props that people will love and enjoy. Our ideal applicant will have experience building stylised props and scenery, a great eye for colour and texture and a love of characterful games. Join as a founding member of the studio and influence the creation of a world class team and their debut title.

A Prop Artist at Electric Square Leamington Spa:

• Reports to the Project Lead Artist on art development objectives
  
• Contributes to the creation of AAA art assets and game content
• Assists in refining our art pipelines and best practices against industry benchmarks
• Explores new techniques and technologies to achieve the best possible results
• Adheres to the agreed art style for the project

Requirements

• Prior experience as a prop and/or environment artist with at least one shipped title to your credit at this level
  
• An exceptional portfolio that demonstrates a solid process for design, modelling and a range of rendering skills.
• Solid understanding of chosen 2D/3D art packages; Maya/Max/Blender, Substance, Photoshop, ZBrush etc
• Able to produce stylised but appropriately detailed, well-optimised models
• Solid understanding of the artistic and technical fundamentals of game art production
• Good knowledge of material creation, high poly modelling and texture baking
• Demonstrable time-management and organisational skills
• Ideally a First in fine art, computer animation, digital media design or relevant degree
