Project Quality Assurance - Language Specialist

Keywords Studios Italy, a Keywords Group Company, provides international media localization, translation, voice recording and localization testing through its network of project managers, recording studios, and selected linguists around the world.

The Project Quality Assurance Specialist is a linguist able to perform checks on a multilanguage project, verifying the accuracy of a localized text, and assessing the final quality of the files.

The Project Quality Assurance Specialist is a freelance who will collaborate with Project Managers, internal linguists and external vendors in monitoring the translations managed for a specific project and client, ensuring files are up-to-standards and adhere to customer instructions.

Requested availability: 3/4 hours per day, on a daily basis

On-the-job training will be provided

Responsibilities:

* Run pre-delivery checks (searching for formal and consistency issues) on delivered files, involving a number of languages (from 1 to 24)

* Team-work with PMs and linguists involved in the project

* Reach out to vendors if fixes are needed

* Keep track of the spotted issues, so to identify critical languages to be prioritized

Requirements

- Italian / English speaker (any additional language knowledge is a plus)

- Excellent written communication skills in English

- Outstanding attention to detail

- Proficient knowledge of MS Office products

- Familiarity with cat tools (XTM / MemoQ) is an advantage

- Excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to work under tight deadlines

- Willing to work in team
