Project QA Lead

Develop testing strategies and plans, and lead a QA team for an unannounced future project.
Our QA Team
At Guerrilla, our QA team members are an integral part of the development process, working closely with their peers in development and production to help achieve the highest quality possible in our games. We are looking for a passionate, self-driven QA Lead to safeguard overall quality and performance on one of Guerrilla’s upcoming projects.
What you will do
- Develop testing strategies and plans throughout a project’s life cycle, in collaboration with the QA Manager
- Facilitate the work of our QA teams by consistently evaluating testing practices, processes, tools and workflows, and implementing ways to improve their efficiency
- Manage day-to-day testing tasks across multiple teams
- Provide feedback regarding the quality and testability of content and features in cross-departmental settings
- Proactively identify and raise risks to both the project and the product
- Advocate best practices and a quality-first mindset within your teams and beyond
- Collaborate closely with production and development to provide the most relevant testing, test reports, and test-adjacent services
- Take an active role in recruiting new team members, and expand your teams’ skills through training and mentoring
Who you are
We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Have a background that adds to the diversity of Guerrilla’s team
- Have at least 3 years of experience on a AAA Online, GaaS or Live Services game project, ideally in a supervisory or Lead role
- Have been on such a project for at least 1 full production cycle (preferably more)
- Have extensive understanding of, and practical familiarity with, development and test processes and methodologies
- Are proactive, autonomous, and driven by product quality
- Have a proven ability to collaborate across multiple teams and disciplines, including off-site and/or external
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Bonus points for experience in:
- Test automation
- Working in game editors
- Setting up training programs for junior testers
