The role @ Sumo
We have a new opportunity for a Project Office Analyst to join our PMO team, you will be responsible for supporting the PMO in project tracking and reporting, process improvement recommendations, administration of project tracking tools whilst also helping with the PMO’s Public Relations.
Within your role you will:
- Work within and support the existing PMO whose main aim is to improve Sumo Digital’s project management capability and competitive advantage.
- Assist in the development and deployment of the Sumo Digital Development Framework Process including helping with project tracking and reporting and stage gate reviews.
- Research and propose process improvements e.g. Change Requests, PM methodologies etc.
- Administration, customisation and development of Sumo’s project management tools and systems (in depth knowledge of Microsoft ADO and Jira is advantageous)
- Assist with the organisation and administration of Project Post mortems.
- Assist in the development, data collection, roll out, training and administration of the central repository for project related information.
- Assist in the improvement of communications between teams and across studios.
- Create and updating of ‘How to’ documentation and video training.
- Help to raise the PMO profile across studios.
- Assistance with various daily/weekly/monthly reporting process.
To be successful you will:
- Be technically strong and comfortable using ADO and JIRA.
- Have knowledge of project management methodologies in a software or technology background.
- Demonstrate knowledge of project management tools (Microsoft ADO and JIRA).
- Have the ability to research and propose new working practices.
- Work with development teams to audit progress in such a manner that does not appear intrusive but helpful.
- Exhibit an effective operational management approach.
- Be able to self-organise and build an agenda without constant supervision.
