Streamline Media Group is looking for a Project Manager to take part in managing and coordinating integrated project plans with limited supervision. We are looking for a highly capable and passionate individual who is extremely organized and able to demonstrate effective organizational leadership along with multi-tasking abilities.
Job Description
- Create and maintain integrated project schedules based on short and long-term goals while maintaining internal quality standards.
- Define the project deliverables, milestones, cost estimates, and resource requirements by working with key technical and creative managers such as the Art Director and Lead Artists.
- Coordinate, delegate and allocate tasks.
- Measure and monitor day-to-day project progress by establishing standards of performance.
- Identify risks that may slow down production, and work with the Project Management Team and the Lead Artists to proactively formulate solutions.
- Advise HOP and Senior Lead on processes and pipeline optimizations across various disciplines.
- Advice and assist HOP with performing periodic cost and productivity analysis
- Supervision of personnel including but not limited to work allocation, training, material, and human resource acquisitions, and conflict mediation.
- Take on an active role in being a good role model and mentor to the artists and leads, be a proponent of the Streamline culture.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management.
- Experience in managing cross-discipline teams
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Budget management experience.
- Competent with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Passionate about building a strong, diverse, and multicultural team; and helping build a positive workplace.
Beneficial skills
- 2+ years of work experience in the videogame industry
- Knowledge in Agile (e.g. Scrum) and Waterfall Project Management techniques
- Passionate about video games, and has extensive gaming experience on a wide variety of hardware platforms (mobile, tablet, PC, console, etc)
