Job Description

1) Manage the deployment and operation of the Digital Distribution projects

As a Project Manager you are responsible with the delivery and maintenance of your projects on time and at the high quality standards.

- Research and set the scope and timeline for the projects and operations

- As the product owner, negotiate the terms and conditions that will affect the project’s delivery, quality and performance with internal business teams and external partners.

- Create and manage the project’s backlog and planning as the situation requires it.

i. New features and functionalities as required by business team or clients

ii. Bug fixes and performance improvement tasks

iii. Framework updates and partnership changes etc.

- Manage the backlog and planning according to projects’ priorities, estimate work and plan for delivery; commit and follow-up on the plan.

- Identify, report and monitor any technical or business issues that prevent the good operations of your projects. Actively champion the resolution of these issues and implement procedures that will prevent the occurrence of similar issues in the future.

2) Lead an Engineering & Services Project’s development team.

As a Project Manager you are leading a development team dedicated to deploying and maintaining Digital Distribution projects. Be a role model for your teammates and lead by example.

- With the support of Management and HR, staff your team according to project’s needs and company’s guidelines and standards.

- Be the expert in processes and procedures and coach your team members to become experts too.

- Know each member of your team, their strengths and aspirations and support them in their daily work and in finding their ideal positioning in the team. Raise their level of self-awareness on both their strengths and areas of development by observing their performance and behavior and offering feedback on a regular basis.

- Engage every member of the team in the development decision making process, in team efficiency assessments and the subsequent processes’ betterment.

- Foster an open and honest communication and collaboration in and outside the team and manage conflicts when need is. Foster an environment where everyone can perform at their best.

- Guide the team in their daily activity, following up on workloads, monitoring and removing bottlenecks, ambiguities and any other issue that could affect the team’s delivery.

- Evaluate the employees from your team, in collaboration with the technical lead.

- Grade the employees' capabilities according to their Job descriptions and evaluation forms and procedures

- Offer qualitative feedback for improvement

3) Reporting and communication.

As a Project Manager you are in charge with the communication with the Management, Business teams, Clients and various collaborators.

- Communicate the project’s planning (milestones, delivery dates, major events) to Management, Business teams and Clients. Inform them about major challenges and mitigation plans.

- Communicate about opportunities you and your team see to improve the quality of the project or anticipate its delivery; negotiate on scope and timing if the initial agreed-on plan becomes unfeasible.

- Constantly inform the business team about the status of the running projects while adapting your communication style to match the audience expectations.

- Keep the communication brief and to the point and always react in a timely manner.

Qualifications

- Producing or Management track record; Technical background in Web Development is a Big plus

- Self-driven, responsible and independent

- Experienced in Agile methodology is a big plus

- Rigorous and organized, with strong multi-tasking skills; able to successfully keep track of multiple threads and obsess over details

- Results oriented with a good understanding of the business kpi-s and a strong will to make things work

- Good English skills (speaking and writing); Able to adapt the communication style to different audiences and situations.

- Training and coaching skills

- Able to learn complex frameworks and procedures

- Good knowledge of Office applications (MS Office, Open Office)

- Good knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
