Blizzard’s Quality Assurance Business Operations (BizOps) team is looking for an experienced Project Manager that is highly collaborative, effective, and forward thinking to provide support to our evolving organization and be a force multiplier in meeting our objectives with excellence.

We are a cross-functional team that broadly supports QA with data and insights, business reporting and KPIs, budget management, and department-wide initiatives.

In this role, you will develop deep expertise of Quality Assurance while working with business and technology owners to complete various projects that support the organization. You will lead cross-functional project teams and drive operational excellence for BizOps.

What you will do

Across the org...

• Take over and manage all existing projects such as quarterly business reviews, partner surveys and game credits, among others
• Work with department heads to understand their business problem spaces and identify potential new projects that can solve these issues
• Collaborate across teams to define project strategies and goals
• Build and maintain comprehensive project charters and manage long-term project schedules
• Identify project resource needs and onboard project members accordingly
• Gather, communicate, and execute against requirements to ensure the desired outcomes of all projects
• Proactively communicate to stakeholders on status and risks utilizing existing and new reporting mechanisms pertaining to all areas within the scope of assigned projects
• Creatively remove roadblocks and make scope/priority decisions
• Hold post-mortems to drive improvement for future iterations of projects
• Prepare polished meeting materials for stakeholders across various levels of the organization including executives

• Identify and drive processes improvement to increase efficiency and eliminate duplication of effort
• Implement new BizOps processes and procedures utilizing project management best practices
• Lead the team weekly project status meetings, follow up on outstanding action items
• Own BizOps weekly status reporting and quarterly updates
• Own knowledge management / documentation of BizOps procedures

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years’ work experience with a proven record of successful project management in the technology, entertainment, or games industries
• Experience successfully running cross-functional projects with competing objectives and multiple stakeholders
• Experience using JIRA for day-to-day tasking
• Experience identifying and implementing process improvements
• Expert in compelling story telling and preparing presentations for leadership
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills

Pluses

• Project management certification, i.e., PMP, Scrum etc.
• Experience working on a business or analytics team
• Experience identifying and providing software engineers with tool requirements
• Knowledge of games Quality Assurance
• Passion for and/or knowledge of Blizzard products
