Project ManagerSummary
Oversee the studio’s game portfolio projects from product conception to product development, across internal and regulatory quality assurance, and through regulatory approval and supporting product roll out. This position will work closely with internal local and offsite game development teams and provide reporting on game project management as per Studio processes.What you'll do
- Facilitate, bridge and align studio management plans across game prototyping, game design, art, technical art, software engineering, audio and test groups.
- Manage and coordinate in-studio collaborative work of the portfolio and product development plans and teams.
- Support Studio Management via the development of all studio plans and schedules and own schedule management performance ensuring all initiatives meet desired milestones.
- Ensure studio communication flows and manage resolutions covering work handoffs, external studio dependencies, management development decisions and resource planning.
- Assist the studio management team with risk assessment and risk management via weekly sprint oversight, task tracking evaluation and continuing assessment of hardware and software dependencies.
- Create, measure, manage and report on the development schedule milestones at weekly studio meetings and game reviews.
- Multitask effectively across multiple projects
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree or related field and/or equivalent work experience.
- Must be an established project manager, preferably within software engineering.
- Must be seasoned and effective in communication across teams, identifying common ground, building trust and creating an environment that fosters mutual understanding and cooperation in collaboration-dependent product development.
- Strong organization skills to orchestrate the creation and execution of annual portfolio plans and full cycle product level development plans.
- Proactive risk assessment manager, providing guidance and mitigation leadership on known issues, downstream ramifications and unforeseen emergence.
- Possess good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (especially MS Excel & PowerPoint) and good presentation skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI would be viewed favorably.
