At Forward Technology Group, we create leading edge interactive experiences and video games with our brands ForwardXP and Forward Game Studios.
ForwardXP is a leader in the development of Metaverse experiences (VR/AR/XR) and Virtual Reality focused video games. We work closely with our largest client, Meta, to reimagine enterprise training and other experiences in the emerging Metaverse. Our hit VR game, Please, Don’t Touch Anything continues to be a top seller on the Oculus Quest.
Forward Game Studios focuses on AAA multiplatform video game development with an emphasis on multiplayer games. Our senior team previously served in leadership positions to ship titles in some of the top selling game franchises of all time including Call of Duty, DOOM, QUAKE, RAGE, Wolfenstein, Counter-Strike, Half-Life, Left 4 Dead, The Sims, James Bond, and Medal of Honor. We are currently working on an unannounced multiplayer focused title.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for an agile Project Manager (Technical) to help us coordinate the development and shipment the interactive and game experiences Forward produces.
In this role, you will work closely with production, software engineering, and QA teams to ensure the tasks, deliverables, and creation as a whole is met.
What you will be doing
- Work closely with lead software engineers and product managers
- Build and maintain project plans, schedules and roadmaps across multiple disciplines, ensuring our products launch successfully and on time
- Coordinate your team’s work on a daily basis and update the rest of the production team
- Provide transparency on project status and risks to stakeholders in order to ensure they are properly informed of any impacts for upcoming releases
- Be an active customer advocate and ensure live issues affecting customers are being followed up on and resolved
- Support the team with production tools
- Ensure the team has the best organized structure and practices to allow them to produce high quality work efficiently Explain complex technical concepts in clear non-technical language
What we would like to see
- 3-5 years experience as producer or project manager at an interactive company, creative or game studio
- Deep understanding of software development processes and project management practices
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated technical aptitude
- Experience problem solving on a daily basis with composure and a friendly, engaging attitude
- Experience working directly with clients
- Successfully managed and shipped projects with various timelines and milestones
- Ability and desire to learn about emerging technologies articulate their capabilities

- Experience with one or more programming languages
- Experience building 3D interactive products (VR, AR, Video Games, etc)
