Project Manager, Growth

There are over a million apps and games fighting for consumer attention, but only a handful will reach a meaningful scale. The Growth Team at Uken Games spends its time thinking about how to bring our games to millions around the world. Our team is an interdisciplinary mix of Data, Marketing and Design professionals. We are looking for a Project Manager to help our growth team better schedule, prioritize and coordinate so we can reach even more people around the world.
Whether it’s marketing creative for a new game’s launch or a new tool that will double the efficiency of our user acquisition, this role will manage it. The ideal candidate will coordinate resources, facilitate communication, and manage a broad array of initiatives. This is a collaborative role that requires strong inter-personal communication, organization, and self-direction.
You'll be working on meaningful things like:
- Helping the creative and marketing team ensure the best marketing creative ideas for every game are produced in the right order
- Being a force multiplier for the team by streamlining work
- Collecting requirements from different disciplines within the team, organizing and managing projects to ensure completion on time
- Helping the marketing and data team ensure the right questions are being answered and the correct tools are being developed
- Helping the team balance a collection of high impact projects
- Improving processes that keep the team up to date with one another and the org at large
Your background should include:
- 2-3 years of experience as a Project Manager or operating in a highly organized marketing team
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential
- Knowledge of different types of agile (Kanban and Scrum preferred)
- Strong understanding of JIRA and how to get the most out of the software
- A love and passion for video games

Note: Due to Covid-19 restrictions, this role will begin as a work from home position. When the office re-opens, the position will be located at our 15 John St. studio.
