Project Manager, Global Developer Technology Group

Global Developer Technology Group (GDTG) provides support to licensed PlayStation partners. Here, you will be part of a team that is passionate about supporting our external development partners in their development of high value content for our platforms.
The Project Manager role supports change delivery. Project activity focuses on support, process adoption, and optimization efforts with PlayStation partners. The role requires a hardworking teammate with the ability to communicate, collaborate and build an approach to solving business and problems. If this is you please apply!
Key Duties and Tasks
- Responsible for the readiness of the business (across the global organization) to operate solutions delivered by Product and Engineering teams via structured project delivery planning, impact analysis and ensuring actions are tracked and delivered against.
- Partner with GDTG teams to translate their strategy and opportunities in to projects.
- Provide clear communication to partners and project teams through email, face to face meetings and project status updates.
Creative Problem Solving & Robust Solutions
- Be able to observe, understand, question and articulate business needs to ensure, as early as possible, that solutions to business problems or opportunities are fit for purpose, both operationally, legally and commercially.
- Develop a deep knowledge of PlayStation tools, processes, people and practices to inform the appropriate solution to a business problem and to mobilize the right teams to make it happen.
- Analyze and review developed solutions during and post-development to ensure that requirements are met and ready for partner Business Acceptance testing & sign-off.
Critical Reflection
- Build time for retrospective review of all newly delivered projects against pre-agreed key performance indicators, and feeding back in to the wider team to ensure continuous improvement of support operations.
- Be confident to challenge how things are done at all levels and provide suggestions for improvement on process and operations with an impartial and holistic perspective.
Skills & Characteristics (Required)
- Program management – Lead multiple active projects while balancing resources with business priorities.
- Project initiation, ensuring robust project structure and planning.
- Change management – Communication, training, feedback strategies.
- Creative and ambitious teammate who embraces change and has a desire to continually improve.
- Data-centric & analytical with strong planning skills.
- Attention to detail with a 'big-picture' conscious to effectively drive projects forward.
- Strong ability to develop influential and reciprocal relationships with key global partners.
- Some international travel will be required as well as a flexible approach to working hours.
- General awareness of the games' market, current and future entertainment platforms desired.
