Department overview:
We are looking for a Project Manager to join Playstation Studios’ Business Management team on a fixed term contract basis . Part of the Business Management team’s remit is managing the PlayStation Studios’ project portfolio, a diverse range of projects from COVID business readiness to rebranding.
What you’ll be doing:
Delivery of PlayStation Studios projects:
- Own the delivery of projects end to end, managing prioritisation, scoping, progress reporting and close out activities
- Maintain project documentation, lead project meetings and manage project communications and change activities
- Manage project related expenditure and resourcing
- Manage relationships with global, cross-functional project stakeholders (e.g. studios, leadership team, Business Operations, external suppliers)
- Proactively identify and escalate issues/risks and facilitate the decision-making process
Studio acquisition integration projects:
- Own the execution of integration plans, onboarding new studios to PlayStation Studios policies, ways of working and systems
- Day-to-day management of integration activities, ensuring key milestones are achieved on time
- Act as the central point of contact for all integration queries and stakeholder concerns
- Manage integration change and communication activities
- Manage workstream leads ensuring that they are delivering against plans and are considering inter-dependencies on other workstreams
- Identify risks and propose mitigation actions, escalating when required
- Produce regular status reports and track performance metrics
- Manage the schedule of weekly status and monthly governance meetings
What we are looking for:
- Education to at least degree level or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in delivering Projects within large, international organisations
- Experience working on post-merger integrations
- Change management experience
- Exceptional research and reporting skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages, including Project, PowerPoint, Word and Excel, and project management methodologies
- A track record of engaging stakeholders across multiple departments and teams, balancing diplomacy and tact with assertiveness
You will need to convince us that you:
- Can design, manage and illustrate efficient project plans
- Have the communication skills – written and verbal – to drive results in a global environment, often working with senior executives
- Can think laterally, identifying interconnected issues and risks and solve problems
- Are pro-active, extremely organised and able to deal with ambiguity
- Can prioritise and deliver multiple projects in parallel
