Job Description
Ubisoft Annecy's studio is looking for a Technical Project Manager who is familiar with game production technologies (engine programming, graphics programming, tool programming, build pipeline), to join a team working on a AAA game not yet announced.
Reporting directly to the associate producer and in collaboration with the project’s programming team, you will be responsible for ensuring the planning, organization, good communication and deliverables of the project’s core tech programming team (Engine, 3D, Tools, QA).
Your daily life
- Monitor project deliverables, as well as risk analysis to ensure compliance with deadlines, budget and quality
- Set up the processes to meet the deadlines given to the team (planning, timeline, daily meeting ...)
- Contribute to fluid and efficient communication between all project stakeholders: internal teams, external studios, collaboration, outsourcing.
- Optimize project’s documentation
- Regularly communicate the team's progress to the top management of the project: formal presentations during the main stages of the project, formalization of recommendations for decision-making
- Participate in the implementation and monitoring of the decision-making process
Qualifications
What you bring
- You have significant experience in IT project management and in-depth knowledge of different project management methodologies
- You are used to working with software development teams, preferably in a context of delivering low-level programming, optimization and rendering programming
- You are familiar with the concepts of CPU and GPU and the constraints associated with them
- You have great organization skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
- You enjoy teamwork and are curious about the technical aspects of a project.
- Rigorous, methodical and autonomous, you will be able to be efficient quickly in order to carry out your missions
- With a strong but diplomatic temperament, you know how to get your ideas across, and you combine organizational and planning skills with real communication skills
- You are willing work in a bilingual environment (French & English) and you know how to adapt to a multicultural world
