Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic Project Manager to lead a high-impact, strategic project that is critical to our company’s future. This role involves managing and coordinating efforts across multiple departments, ensuring smooth collaboration and alignment throughout the organization. As a key driver of this transversal initiative, you will play a vital role in delivering results that shape the success of our company.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects;
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget;
- Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility;
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders;
- Makes sure the requirements are properly documented;
- Works closely with the developers and makes sure the requirements, priorities and estimations are properly understood and agreed across the team;
- Ensure resource availability and allocation;
- Have extensive customer contact during the project execution and build up a good relation with the customer;
- Implement and lead a project plan based on Agile methodology;
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress;
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs;
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques;
- Report and escalate to management as needed;
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks;
- Demonstrated understanding of budgeting, scheduling and change management processes;
- Lead and manage end-to-end project lifecycle, from planning to delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals.
- Lead meetings and manage project documentation.
Qualifications
- Experienced in BI visualization tools, preferably Looker;
- Great educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science, engineering or accounting;
- +2 years planning and/or management experience;
- Experience in custom application development and all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC);
- Projects implemented on BI area;
- Good understanding of IT projects methodology – understanding of business and functional;
- Proven ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects concurrently;
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills;
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills;
- Excellent command of English;
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office;
- Experience in agile environments (e.g. scrum, kanban) will be a plus;
- PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus ;
- Flexibility is key. Must be open to adapting past experience to Gameloft Romania engagements;
- Problem solving, teamwork, transparent communications, self-directed management style and quest for constant learning are the key behaviors that drive success at Gameloft Romania;
- Ability to define and ensure objective measures of complex programs and experience in tracking and assessing projects based on project plans, resources;
- Experience leading requirements gathering sessions and establishing task prioritization;
- Motivated to drive excellence in service delivery, methodology, and operations (track record of managing successful projects);
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Familiarity with managing distributed or global teams.
