We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Product Manager Intern for our Positive Play Group (Connection) team.
As a Product Manager Intern in EA’s Positive Play Group, you will work on a product that will help players have enjoyable connected experiences; you will also apply the Positive Play lenses to augment positive social interactions.
For EA to inspire the world to play, we must be the caretakers of a global, online community who feel welcome, safe, and rewarded every time they play. At the Connection team, the social product aims to facilitate serendipitous and joyful experiences.
Product managers wear many hats in gaming. You will help us with:
- Product Research : you will research trends, ask thought-provoking questions, and identify opportunities to level up players’ positive experiences and connections
- Data Analysis : you will analyze, synthesize and tell a story from multiple sources of data using different tools and data analysis
- Experimentation : you will design and complete experiments to validate or invalidate hypotheses critical to developing and executing our product strategy.
Responsibilities
- You have an analytical mind with a passion for understanding root causes and breaking down complex problems & processes into simplified, consumable steps.
- You are curious about players’ social behaviors and are interested in connecting data to players' motivations and interests to create a multifaceted view of the player.
- In partnership with your team, you will develop an understanding of the key product metrics from inception to post-launch analysis in order to clearly identify strengths and weaknesses.
- You will leverage creativity and problem-solving skills to iterate on development processes.
- You will craft Product Requirement documents and UX/UI wireframes that are supported by data.
- You will organize and monitor projects from beginning to end.
- You will design and execute analytical experiments methodically to help solve various problems and make a true impact on the player experience.
- You will develop insightful dashboards, memos & presentations that summarize insightful and actionable data.
- Comfortable with ambiguity, curious about player behaviors and motivations, excited to understand the players’ multi-faceted interests and affinities.
Qualifications
- Freshman or Sophomore working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field of study with a minor or double major in business administration.
- Demonstrate structured and analytical thinking on nebulous problems.
- Demonstrate Product Sense.
- Ability to be a self-starter, think strategically, thrive under pressure, and embrace ambiguity.
- A desire to learn, grow and work independently.
