Today, there are over a dozen games and expansions available for purchase: Exploding Kittens, Bears vs Babies, You’ve Got Crabs, Throw Throw Burrito, On a Scale of One to T-Rex, Poetry for Neanderthals A Game of Cat & Mouth, Tacocat Spelled Backwards, A Little Wordy, as well as mobile app games Kitty Letter and Exploding Kittens, one of the top 30 premium games on both iOS and Android.
At Exploding Kittens, the Art Team is responsible for creating exceptional art for our growing games portfolio along with art assets for marketing and promotional content. At any given time, there are multiple projects in the works with tight and sometimes moving deadlines. To ensure the success of the art team, we are seeking to hire a full-time Project Coordinator to support our Senior Project Manager by maintaining the routing processes of all art assignments and securing required approvals with documented back up throughout the life cycle of every project. Ideal candidates should have experience working in a creative environment with strong organizational and project management skills.
HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE:
- Track and maintain creative projects to ensure they are completed on time and each artist or designer has the necessary information and resources to complete each assignment
- Assist the Senior Project Manager with scheduling priorities and workloads for all members of the Art team
- Route art files to internal stakeholders to obtain requested changes and approvals; ensure all information is properly documented and archived
- Work closely with International Sales and the Localization Manager to review all related assignments for approval and organizing new art requests
- Manage quality control of digital art files from various factories and manufacturing facilities for accuracy
- Liaison with artists, graphic designers, project managers, and production managers to ensure project specs are accurate and up to date
- Maintain the Art department’s file management system
- Assist with miscellaneous daily tasks of the Art department as they arise
- Follow a development timeline to ensure tasks are completed to meet desired deadlines
- Troubleshoot problems as they arise with both the creative team and external printers and vendors
WHAT WE NEED:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a creative working environment
- Extremely organized with a passion for organization, art and process improvement
- Proficiency in Google Sheets and Microsoft Office required in addition to working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite; experience using project management software preferred
- Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining creative brand excellence
- Detail-oriented with a flexible, problem-solving attitude and willingness to learn new systems and processes
