What you will do:

As a Team Lead (Reliability) at Ubi Québec, you will lead a team of talented and inspired programmers for the development of technologies essential to the reliability of games and their content. The reliability team:

The main goal of the team is to support the production team in improving the reliability of games and their content. To achieve this goal, the team will set up automated tests, crash monitoring. The team is also in charge of setting up a process for qualifying and escalating versions of the game.

The daily life of a team leader:

A typical day is when your team comes together to discuss the progress of assigned tasks. You review new feature requests and notable bugs and see how best to approach them. You communicate regularly with representatives of other disciplines to plan, assess risk and deliver on time. Sometimes you need to actively participate in the programming process with your team.

You keep your manager informed on the progress of your mandates and you meet with your colleagues to discuss ways to improve processes and share technologies.

You are also responsible for supporting each member of your team in improving their technical and interpersonal skills. You have their well-being at heart and you actively participate in their development within the organization.

Qualifications

What you bring:

A bachelor's degree in computer science or computer engineering.

A minimum of 8 years of experience in software development,

including a minimum of 3 years of experience managing a team of programmers.

Excellent communication and strategic leadership skills.

An ability to remain calm in the face of difficult situations.

Strong interest in the video game production process.

Fluency in French and English.
