PROGRAMMING INTERNSHIP (Year in Industry - 2023 to 2024)

We are actively looking for Programming Interns to take up the challenge and join our award winning team for 2023/2024.

THE STUDIOS

Coconut Lizard and d3t are at the cutting edge of technology and creativity, delivering co-development video game services to our global triple-A clients. Our successful studios are part of the global Keywords Studios Group, and are continuing to grow. We work on multiple exciting projects at any one time offering plenty of variety and involvement for our graduate programmers. Our studios are based near Runcorn in Cheshire, and near Newcastle in the North East with this role being available based at either site. We offer an amazingly professional, fun and supportive working environment. YOUR MISSION OBJECTIVES

As a Programming Intern with us, you will be studio based and you can expect the following:

• Intro: work on an exciting game from day one.
• Power Ups: learn from experienced programmers.
• Teamwork: collaborating, planning, writing, reviewing, and testing code.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Languages: C++ preferred
• Techniques: Object-oriented development
• Enthusiasm: Will take on any challenge
• Growth: A desire to learn and improve
• Teamwork: Enjoy working as part of a team
• Communication: Excellent

DESIRABLE SKILLS

It would be great, but not essential, if you have experience with at least one of the following:

• Multiple programming languages
• Commercial game engines
