RELEVE DE : DIRECTEUR PROGRAMMATION
RESPONSABILITES :
- Développer et maintenir des fonctionnalités réseau d’un moteur multi-joueurs en utilisant principalement le C++ comme langage de programmation;
- Développer et maintenir des suites de tests et d’outils en lien avec les fonctionnalités réseau;
- Débugger les fonctionnalités réseau;
- Contribuer positivement à l’atteinte des objectifs du projet et de l’équipe.
- Concevoir, implémenter et debugger des solutions créatives et innovante permettant d’atteindre les objectifs du projet;
- Établir et maintenir un suivi des tâches à accomplir ainsi qu’une planification personnelle;
- Se tenir à jour sur les dernières technologies, les avancées et les développements en matière de programmation de jeux
EXPERIENCE ET QUALIFICATIONS :
- Diplôme universitaire en programmation, génie logiciel, génie informatique ou l’équivalent;
- 3 à 5 ans d’expérience dans l’industrie à titre de Programmeur·euse dont 2 à titre de Programmeur·euse Réseau;
- Excellente connaissance des contraintes technologiques sur différentes plateformes de jeux;
- Expérience en profilage et optimisation;
- Expérience AAA un atout majeur;
- Expérience avec les microservices infonuagique un atout majeur.
HABILETES TECHNIQUES :
- Très bonne connaissance du C++;
- Expérience à optimiser et débugger du code C++;
- Doit posséder de très bonnes connaissances algorithmiques;
- Fortes habiletés en design ;
- Connaissances de C# et/ou Python un atout.
QUALITES INTERPERSONNELLES :
- Capacité à gérer son temps de façon autonome;
- Capacité à travailler en équipe;
- Bonne communication
- Un désir de repousser les barrières de la technologie en jeu vidéo est requis;
- De la maturité pour donner et recevoir des critiques constructives est attendue;
- Être axé sur l’atteinte de résultats supérieurs;
- Avoir un esprit d’analyse et de synthèse.

REPORTS TO: PROGRAMMING DIRECTOR
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain multiplayer engine network features using C++ as primary programming language;
- Develop and maintain network related test suites and tools;
- Debug network-related bugs;
- Contribute positively to the achievement of the goals of the project and the team;
- Design, implement and debug creative and innovative solutions to achieve the objectives of the project;
- Establish and maintain a follow-up of tasks to be accomplished as well as personal planning;
- Keep up to date on the latest technologies, advances and developments in game programming.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- University degree in programming, software engineering, computer engineering or equivalent;
- 3 to 5 years of experience in the industry as a Programmer, including 2 as Network Programmer;
- Excellent knowledge of technological constraints on different gaming platforms;
- Experience in profiling and optimization;
- AAA experience a major asset;
- Experience in cloud microservices a major asset
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Must have a very good knowledge of C++;
- Experience in debugging and optimizing C++ code;
- Must have very good algorithmic knowledge;
- Strong design skills;
- Knowledge of C# and/or Python an asset.
INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:
- Ability to manage time independently;
- Be a good team player;
- Be a good communicator;
- A desire to push the barriers of video game technology is required;
- Maturity to give and receive constructive criticism is expected;
- Focus on achieving superior results;
- Have an analytical and synthetical mind.
