We’re looking for a passionate Recruiting Events Program Manager to build and execute our talent acquisition team’s event strategy. This person will work on everything from large scale recruiting and industry events like Grace Hopper, TechCrunch Disrupt, GDC and SIGGRAPH, to more in-house team-specific events or virtual dinners to foster relationships with exceptional talent long term. This is an opportunity to directly impact the building and nurturing of Roblox’s talent communities, innovate on new ways to connect with candidates, and contribute to building the teams that will power Roblox’s future success.
What you’ll do:
- Own the creation, delivery, and execution of the recruiting team’s long term event strategy;
- Manage events from initial design to final outcome, including follow up communication and event retrospectives;
- Partner with stakeholders and team members to develop plans for each event outlining details, deliverables, and initiatives required to promote and run the event;
- Conceptualize and carry out imaginative virtual experiences, and eventually, in person events, for a variety of candidates for different teams and at different levels;
- Track and use data to set goals and measure the impact and effectiveness of both individual events, as well as the overarching recruiting events strategy;
- Foster, influence, and manage relationships driving impact through a cross-functional collaboration with Recruiting team members, stakeholders within the business, and external vendors and organizations;
- Ad Hoc projects as needed to support the broader recruiting operations team and recruiting organization;
- Work with both the internal Recruiting team and our technical teams to help source the right talent for the events.
What you’ll need:
- 6+ years work experience: 3+ years event management experience preferably within Talent Acquisition, or related professional experience in running Marketing or Sales events;
- A proven track record in event management, from strategizing and structuring both large and small scale events through to execution;
- Experience with change management and the ability to drive collaboration by building trust and credibility with leaders and individuals across the company;
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
