Summary
The Program Manager’s role is to oversee the engineering portfolio projects as assigned across internal and regulatory quality assurance, and through regulatory approval and supporting product roll out. This position will work closely with global and regional commercial portfolio management governance, Aristocrat Gaming regulatory and QA engagement teams, internal product development teams, program management schedules and dependencies, external vendors/suppliers and provide overall reporting across Aristocrat Gaming on hardware project management.What you'll do
- Manage and coordinate engineering portfolio for rollout of products to global markets.
- Creating new programs according to business plans
- Managing the day-to-day progress of each program throughout its life cycle.
- Support Engineering Management via development of Engineering plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Managing budgets and reporting on fund allocation
- Understanding how different projects interlink and overlap
- Managing resources and ensuring timely delivery of programs
- Risk assessment and risk management via periodic oversight, task tracking evaluation and continuing assessment of dependencies.
- Manage Program Procurement
- Reporting on program performance to executive team
- Resolving issues with management and stakeholders
- Supervising and coordinating activities of the parties involved in the program
- Plan product submissions for regulatory approvals in conjunction with Compliance, Submission and Product Management teams ensuring identification of target markets and scheduled rollout milestones are met
- Ensuring relevant standards, process and regulations are upheld
- Developing strong relationships with team members, vendors, and partners
- Ensure communication flows and resolutions covering work handoffs, external dependencies, management development decisions and resource planning.
- Solid leadership and emotional intelligence skills, with demonstrated ability to engage others, influence organisational culture, and provide direction
- A lateral thinker with an ability to manage a multitude of complex tasks and projects simultaneously

- Perform all responsibilities associated with standard project management in a Program Management Office and engineering development environment, including implementation and maintenance of effective project management framework, development team project plans, schedule management and facilitation of program reviews and performance.
- Multitask within a fast-paced development environment and quickly identify issues, collaborate, and manage solutions in support of product development plans, rollout plans and delivery goals.
- Remain flexible and receptive to feedback in approach to goal achievement.
- Identifying opportunities for continual improvement
- Assist the VP PMO, Global Engineering with Developing and implementing strategy for the program team
- Champion ownership of all other duties assigned or emergent in support of engineering excellence across the product portfolio and all commercial goals.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree or related field and/or equivalent work experience.
- In-depth knowledge of program and project management methods and principles
- Requires five to seven years of experience in new product development project management, or its equivalent, ideally in a regulated industry [Gaming or Other].
- Experience in managing product approval through global regulatory framework
- Must be seasoned and effective in communication across teams, identifying common ground, building trust and creating an environment that fosters mutual understanding and cooperation in collaboration-dependent product development.
- Extremely strong relationship development and management skills, including soft skills; people skills, , communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
- Must have strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Adept at group coordination; capable of driving the achievement of shared goals.
- Ability to manage a team and stakeholders
- Exceptional problem resolution facilitation skills and ability to clear/resolve issues quickly.
- Strong organization skills to orchestrate the creation and execution of annual portfolio plans and full cycle product level development plans.
- Proactive risk assessment manager, providing guidance and mitigation leadership on known issues, downstream ramifications, and unforeseen emergence.
- Strong orientation for internal customer service and cross-collaborative team support.
- Proven experience managing dependent and shared roles and responsibilities across multiple projects and teams.
- Proven stakeholder management skills.
- Motivation and ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies.
- Ability to understand and commute the organization’s goals and objectives.

- Experience using Microsoft Office suite, MS Project, MS Project Server, MS Teams, ERP Systems, SharePoint, Power BI and similar project and financial reporting tool
