Position Summary
- Reads test schedules, work orders, test manuals, and performance specifications to determine testing procedure and equipment to be used.
- Inspects completed assemblies for proper configuration.
- Tests and exercises completed assemblies for proper functionality in allotted time, often computerbased.
- Troubleshoots and repairs games as required.
- Records test results and notes assembly deficiencies.
- Tags and tallies all defective material.
- Performs additional test of rejected electrical components.
- Generates daily test logs and reports as required.
- Responsible for all issue test currency and tools.
- Confers with engineers, technicians, production personnel, and others regarding testing procedures and results to resolve problems.
- May devise test equipment setup to evaluate performance and operation of nonstandard or defective units.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Six months technical training
- One to three years technical experience
Education:
High School Graduate or equivalent
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Ability to properly read work orders, blueprints, and schematics
- Computer skills, including use of DOS, Windows 3.1, and 95/98/NT
- Ability to perform mechanical, functional, electrical, and software tests
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of game testing/configuration fundamentals
- Capable of operating a handheld Digital Multi-Meter for troubleshooting purposes
- Must be able to lift 5 to 50 pounds on a regular basis
