TITLE: Production QA Manager

LOCATION: Middleton, WI

RESPONSIBILITIES: As our Production QA Manager, you will foster the growth and engagement of Raven’s talented Production and QA staff. You will be developing career growth strategies in partnership with peers and individual developers across the studio. You will be a key member of our management team, as you define career goals, review project work, and actively mentor your team.

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

• Gather requirements for effective career growth
• Develop, modify, and improve a career development strategy
• Schedule and meet with Producers, LiveOps Embedded Testers, and other team members on a regular basis to discuss their career growth
• Organize and promote regular employee and manager training
• Conduct new employee orientation
• Direct involvement in, and contributions to, employee performance reviews, and goal setting
• Build a strong working relationship with the Producers, LiveQA Embedded Testers, Directors, and peers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A history of team management experience including:
  • Assignment and assessment of duly work
  • Onboarding new hires
  • Goal setting and performance management
• Passion for helping developers grow their careers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong planning, time management, and organizational skills
• Ability to get results by actively listening, negotiating, and influencing
• A deep sense of integrity, a team-centered orientation, and a collaborative approach to problem solving

EXTRA POINTS FOR:

• Experience in the Production and/or Quality Assurance fields
• Experience developing and implementing software testing plans
• Ability to create and adjust production schedules to meet project needs
• Prior experience in a similar role, ideally in a relevant industry
• Game development experience
