Blizzard Entertainment is seeking a talented and passionate Production Office Coordinator to support the Story & Franchise Development team. The Production Office Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Senior Director and Associate Production Director of Blizzard Animation. They will be highly adaptable and able to support their team in various and ever-changing ways. This position requires a critical thinker with great communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage their directors’ busy calendars and appropriately balance their daily priorities.
- Schedule, attend, and take notes during recurring production and leadership team meetings.
- Support their directors’ projects by taking on tasks wherever appropriate.
- Assist in planning, organizing, and executing department-wide events.
- Place both large and small catering orders for meetings and events.
- Make and distribute swag and office purchases for their team.
- Submit contracts, purchase orders, and expense reports on behalf of their team.
- Coordinate team moves and seat assignments, as well as maintaining a building seating map.
- Partner with Public Relations to support their team’s participation in panels and festivals.
- Craft written and visual department-wide communications and presentations.
- Support hiring managers with getting their new hires access to tools and the necessary equipment to hit the ground running.
- Conduct campus tours for visiting guests.
- Support the Blizzard Animation Production team and Senior Administrative Assistant of Story & Franchise Development as needed.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in an administrative role.
- Customer service experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- A team player and collaborator who can take and follow directions well.
- A self-starter with a high level of initiative and the ability to handle multiple tasks independently and simultaneously.
- Impeccable organization and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly resourceful and reliable.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong critical thinking skills.
Pluses:
- Prior animation or production experience.
- Knowledge of Blizzard games and lore.
- Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop.
