Production Intern - MetaHumans
Epic Games is on the lookout for smart, dynamic interns to join our dev teams. When you join Epic you'll join a team that's pushing the limits of gaming and interactive. From Unreal Engine and Fortnite, to TwinMotion and the Epic Games Store, you'll contribute to the unrelenting focus on innovation, quality and community that defines us.
Epic Games MetaHuman Team is looking for a Production Intern to join them in 2023 . As a Production Intern, you will gain exposure to the process of planning, developing, and releasing features for MetaHumans, working closely with other producers and team members to see those features through to completion. Additionally, you will work closely with the lead to implement improvements to our team's underlying processes, giving you exposure to not only feature / release aspects of production, but change management and process implementation.
The MetaHuman team is dedicated to building a framework that gives any creator the power to use highly realistic human characters in any project powered by the Unreal Engine. You will work directly with our team as we push the fidelity and technology envelope even further to make digital humans accessible to everyone!
In This Role You Will:
- Assist our teams by tracking and updating production schedules
- Assist team producers or leads with data entry, follow-ups, and list management
- Represent task status to other producers and leads
- Partner with development teams to remove blockers from production
- Participate in meetings and drive relevant assigned tasks
- Document meeting notes and communicate actionable items
- Coordinate work with various teams to meet deadlines
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong communication, consistent follow-through and clarity
- Demonstrated detailed oriented project management skills through coursework or outside projects
- Experience working in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Strong detail management, reliability, caring about correctness
- Experience with Google Docs/Sheets, Jira, ShotGrid, or similar task tracking software
- Basic project management skills and understanding of production philosophies
- Passion for work in games technology (knowledge of Metahumans product!)
- Experience working closely with artists and familiarity with 3D art pipelines/workflows
- Demonstration of completed projects outside of the classroom
