Production Intern, Games

Osmo is forming new teams and growing existing initiatives. As a Production Intern, you will be supporting our game teams in developing multiple products in various stages of concept and pre-production. While being part of a larger production team, you will also be the sole producer on one or more game projects working with small development teams.
Position Responsibilities
- Gather milestone requirements, goals, and scope estimates to coordinate and track project tasks and progress
- Support the development team’s large scale alpha and beta playtesting efforts, including reviewing, collating and responding to play tester feedback
- Prepare play testing requirements in partnership with QA and Research teams
- Organize and run feedback review meetings with the development team
- Proactively identify potential risks and take action to troubleshoot, prevent and resolve.Evaluate games builds and push for accountability to raise the game quality
- Understand requirements and interdependencies from cross-departmental teams and make recommendations based on sometimes competing priorities
- Regularly iterate on new ideas, tasks and processes to continuously improve production, design and communication techniques
Qualifications
- A passion for and keen interest in creating engaging playful learning experience for kids
- Strong problem solving, project management, communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to mediate and resolve interpersonal and cross team conflictA clear understanding of game development pipelines and best practices
- Experience with project management software such as Jira, Trello or Basecamp and spreadsheet software such as Excel or Google Spreadsheets
- General knowledge in game development disciplines, including but not restricted to game design, software engineering, art and user research
