The status quo is not good enough for our dedicated worldwide community of players, which is why we question the de facto industry conventions and demand more from ourselves as developers.
We are looking for an experienced, compassionate Art Producer ready to partner with Guild Wars 2 development teams to build amazing art for players. You know how to organize a large volume of art requests and build good relationships with leads to consistently output quality art on time and on budget. You’re ready to take on new challenges with established teams, helping improve pipelines, find efficiencies in processes, and increase output. You have an eye for business and player needs and can identify great new items to create for the game.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Support art teams tracking art requests, dependencies, timelines, schedules, and budgets
- Collaborate with commerce, design, outsourcing, and marketing, to create project schedules, budget resources, drive milestones, and track monetization
- Assist art leads with dependency management, removing blocking issues, and communicating schedule changes
- Monitor change requests and escalate when significant changes to schedule scope have occurred
- Identify and then develop strategies to mitigate risks
- Communicate art asset status to teams and stakeholders
- Refine the art development processes to increase production efficiency and quality
- Maintain and create reports on development progress
- Ability to ship every two weeks and keep the team on track
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
- Knowledge of Art pipelines and workflows
- Mid to senior level experience with game production in AAA game development
- Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel
- Ability to create project schedules and milestones and monitor the progress of tasks towards those schedules
- Experience using Agile game development methodologies
- Experience working with Jira
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Experienced at bringing clarity to ambiguity and capable of adapting to change
- You are data driven and like using data to help inform decision making
We are open to remote work in AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, ID, IL, MA, MD, NC, NV, NY OR, TX, UT and WA or onsite/hybrid/flex at our office in Bellevue, WA.
Total compensation is salary plus an annual bonus potential . Please note that the listed pay range is a general guideline only. We take into consideration the geography in which you live and your experience and qualifications when determining final salary. This role is also eligible for medical, dental, vision and life insurance, short and long term disability, 401(k), flexible and dependent care spending accounts, PTO, paid holidays and parental leave.
Remote pay range
$70,000 — $110,000 USD
