As a Production Director , you have the most essential leadership position to unite a global team that’s both internal and external. Other than being good at production management, you will be most successful if you can share vision and align teams. You also need to create development processes that accommodate speed, quality and flexibility .

This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The potential home studio for this role is Irvine, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the master release plan, ensuring release quality and timing. Scope release tasks, align priorities, and mitigate risks by collaborating with internal and external development teams.
  • Facilitate the collaboration of creative, product, and tech teams from both internal and external development groups to contribute to the roadmap planning process.
  • Lead external partners through influence, bridging gaps in development pipelines, communication styles, and leadership approaches. Share the vision as partners and maintain positive relationships.
  • Lead producer team to support vari ous processes, such as game design, art, engineering, publishing, product management and community. Design the producer roles and responsibilities based on each talent's strengths and career needs
  • Conduct talent reviews, provide coaching and training, and create career paths for team members, leading by example.
  • Manage development and team expense budgets, contracts, and provide regular forecasts and adjustments in collaboration with finance.
  • Provide key executive stakeholders with visibility into the roadmap, project plans, status reports, resource allocations, and budget reports.
  • Support the Executive Producer to d eliver executive - level communication such as monthly review deck, roadmap presentations , and financ ial forecast s .

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience leading mobile game production with shipped titles .
  • Experienced in managing production pipeline throughout mobile game lifecycle including live operations .
  • Experienced in co-development relationships with oversea partners .
  • Experience collaborating with teams such as Marketing, Legal, Finance, Creative, and HR .
  • Excellent leadership, project management and communication skills .
  • Solid organizational skills and highly efficient time management .
  • Proficient in people management skills to motivate and grow the team .
  • Strong knowledge of the mobile game market and other platforms .
  • International game or business experience .

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $124,400.00 - $230,300.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role’s range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
