This position is for a temporary engagement through our staffing partner DZConnex.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States for this position.
Summary:
Naughty Dog is seeking a Production Coordinator to play an integral role in organizing and supporting our AAA projects. This candidate will assist in the management of the day-to-day work of developers across one or more teams.
Our ideal candidate is someone with a solid understanding of the fundamentals of Production and a strong desire to help the development team reach their maximum potential. You'll bring your organizational skills, understanding of communication pipelines, and passion for making games - and above all, your empathy to inspire the team and rally support for our shared vision!
Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on support to our development team. Update schedules, report team progress, track tasks, and take notes
- Help coordinate the flow of information and assets between teams
- Assist teams in identifying and resolving issues
- Assist producers in developing and maintaining pipelines
- Set and maintain interdepartmental meetings. Lead group discussions and formal meetings
- Keep the development team’s work prioritized and on time
- Help make our games better by participating in internal playtests and communicating feedback to the relevant team members
- Be a champion of Naughty Dog culture. Help ensure everyone's voice is heard, and that we continue to build a diverse and welcoming workplace
Requirements & Skills:
- Highly motivated individual - consistently driven to produce results
- College degree in a production-related field, or a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience
- Experience with G Suite and/or Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on spreadsheets
- Comfort in communicating with both large groups and with individuals. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Eagerness to learn new tools, technologies, and processes
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, follow-up skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to identify a need for change and articulate ideas for improvement
Bonus Skills:
- Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, etc.
- Experience with production software (Jira, Shotgrid, Microsoft Project, or any other scheduling/task-tracking software)
- Familiarity with Naughty Dog games and a passion for game development
