An Internal Communications Coordinator works closely with the Lead Producer and other production team members to support the day to day production of internal groups through analytic thinking, information gathering, and thoughtful communication. They provide frequent and detailed updates on project progress and status meant to motivate and inform the team.
Responsibilities
- Communication via weekly update emails
- Act as main point of contact and facilitator of a number of team wide events and presentations
- Analyze the efficiency of different methods of communication and make suggestions on where/how to improve
- Act as the “go to person” for directing people back to the latest content in the game and how to access it
PARTICIPATE in current and future Product Development needs. This contribution would include:
- Level up and improve the overall quality of weekly updates
- Curate content displayed on internal screens/monitors to showcase
- Provide regular clean up support to the Wiki and work with Producers to ensure all the information is current
- Work alongside playtest Producers to provide updates, communications and recaps of all playtests
Requirements
- Minimum 0-2 years industry experience in a product development environment
- Prior experience working with large development teams desirable
- 4 year undergraduate college degree

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively across Product Development and Management teams.

- Excellent organizational & prioritization skills, attention to detail, process knowledge and ability to multi-task
- Experience with Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel), JIRA, Confluence, Shotgun and Perforce
- Experience crafting presentation materials utilizing Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and Premier. InDesign a bonus)
- Basic knowledge of production processes, pipelines and schedules.
- Some familiarity with Agile techniques, including SCRUM or Kanban and traditional production management techniques
