The Production Assistant for the Motion Capture Studio will support the Production team in charge of overseeing every facet of the production process across all 10+ games. From scheduling meetings to finalizing shoot reports, the Studio Production Assistant will be involved in the careful coordination and organization of a highly complex production environment. The Studio Production Assistant are the foot soldiers of our studio, performing vital tasks both small and large onset and in the offices. Your duties may involve anything from office administration to crowd control, setting up catering and troubleshooting call sheets. We are seeking an individual who not only has a passion for film production and video games, but who excels in the areas of communication and organization, showing grace under pressure. The work is usually extremely varied and provides a good entry level role into the video game and entertainment industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet talent and visitors to the studio and provide tours
- Create, administer, and file crew contracts for payroll purposes
- Act as a point of contact between the stage and back offices, as well as between the Stage Team and Production Team
- Provide administrative support to all mocap’s internal departments
- Manage general studio upkeep
- Coordinate with caterers and other service providers
- Participate in pre-production meetings, taking detailed minutes
- Keep the studio in tip-top shape, neat, inviting and clean
- Onboard new vendors and hires
- Provide assistance to the Lead Producers with scheduling, sending emails, preparing Shoot Reports, and more
- Manage inventory of studio office supplies and place daily orders as needed
- Coordinate 2K Mocap swag orders and distribution
- Take inventory of our mocap COVID supplies, keep our storage room stocked with PPE, place orders accordingly, and keep PPE carts fully stocked
- Assist with general office equipment issues (laminators, printers, computers, etc.) and workstation setup
- Create specialty signages that include parking signs, safety/warnings, COVID testing and specific department signages
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years experience in internal or external game development
- Previous experience in project management and production
- Experience with AAA titles preferred
- Prior work experience in a production environment, such as video games, film, or animation a plus
- Outgoing personality, with excellent interpersonal skills
- Possess a high attention to detail and vigilant proactivity
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Proficient in GSuite, specifically Google Docs, Forms, and Sheets
- Able to translate concepts into polished presentations
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Self-motivated, with the ability to multi-task and manage workflows
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
- Good judgment, with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in person, on the phone, electronically, or through other means to individuals and groups
- Quick learner, able to pick up new tools and technologies and learn new processes quickly while pro-actively seeking out training as needed
- Highly organized. Able to keep on an assigned track without constant supervision
- Must be able to effectively communicate risks and obstacles both to team members, as well as to your direct supervisor
