Who You Are:
You were the one who always had an extra pencil and an organized binder with a highlighted syllabus under the flap. Everyone wanted you in their group project because of your reputation for high standards, attention to detail and lively collaboration. You are comforted by organization and structure and intuitively gravitate towards deploying both in chaos. But you aren’t all work and no play as evidenced by your expansive collection of games organized neatly next to your console by genre. You may not have beat every level but you did find every bug which you noted on the pad next to your couch while thinking, “One day I’ll make games better.” Of course, you’re also proficient in Excel since you use it to track your monthly subscriptions. But since we know you love a list:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office (and in particular, Excel)
- Detail oriented and highly organized
- Ability to work independently
- Willingness to take direction from senior production in order to develop and grow skills
- An interest in game development with a production track focus
- Ability to remain focused and productive in team environment
- Ability to learn quickly and effectively
- Thorough understanding of video games – you should be a gamer!
- Knowledge of task and bug tracking software like JIRA or Shotgun a plus
What We Need:
Our culture is our cornerstone and we’re always looking for culture adds to make us better!
In this role, we’re looking for an energetic and positive team player to help produce our super ambitious AAA title.
What your days will look like:
- Administrative functions as required by the development team, organizing meetings, creating JIRA and Shotgun tasks
- Work directly with producers to prepare, validate and deploy builds of the game to various stations and conference rooms for reviews
- Take notes; follow up on action items and assignments from meetings to ensure they are completed on schedule
- Self-starter and willing owner of production tasking and tracking lists and be able to follow-up on assignment status with minimal management from senior production
